I’m Chrissy…wife , mom of 3, nurse, & your new best friend!!
I’m just a born & raised Southern girl with a laptop, a dream and a desire to help others. I started Smart Sassy Southern to be an inspiration to moms and wives all over the world.
Do you ever feel like you can’t get it together? Like you are f*cking it all up? Like you never have enough time in the day? And like your kids are going to hate you when they grow up?
If you feel like you can’t keep your pretty little sh*t together for one more second…welcome to the club!! I’m so glad you found me because you are not alone. There are moms and wives just like you all over the world. (You probably have one living across from you right now.)
So here’s the deal …are you ready to get rid of your self doubt and criticism, once and for all? Are you ready to learn some of my tips for making life easier? How about some recipes to help reduce dinner stress? What about some arts & crafts to do as an escape?
Now that we are besties, I plan to do my very best to give you the encouragement and motivation you need. You have to understand that just because you didn’t complete your to do list for the day, make a 4 course meal, or even take a bath for that matter … YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE!
My way to gauge the success of any given day is … “But did they die?”
I’m not going to lie to you … I am a hot mess sometimes but my heart’s greatest desire is to help others (that’s why I’ve been a nurse for the past 14 years). If you find even the smallest grain of wisdom, grace, or inspiration through my personal experiences on Smart Sassy Southern …then I have achieved my goal. Hell, if you just get a laugh every now and then … I count that as a win. (Sometimes a laugh is all we need to make it through the day!)
I do want to warn you though… if you are easily offended by cussing … you will HATE my blog.
I am super real (no candy coating it here – Thanks hubby for instilling that in me.), unapologetic, quite unclassy & can even be a smidge obscene at times. But … that’s who I am. No excuses. (Just ask my kids.) I try to handle myself with tons of southern grace but sometimes sh*t gets real and that goes out the window.
With that being said, I hope that you stick around a while so you don’t miss a thing! Plus, we are friends now and in the South that’s what friends do … stick around no matter what!
If you are new here…be sure to subscribe to the Smart Sassy Southern newsletter for updates. And if you just want to chit chat a little, don’t hesitate contact me.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
